9 months old!

Cadence, Aria, and Jude are 9 months old today! Cadence weighs 13lbs15oz, Aria 12lbs10oz, and Jude 14lbs15oz! They had a very good month for the most part and their little personalities are really starting to come out! They started solid foods and they are liking it so far! Cadence is sitting up all by herself and Aria is right behind. Jude saw a GI doc for his tummy issues and she put him on Neocate, a completely hyperallergetic amino acid-based formula. Unfortunately, we've haven't seen a change. We will give it a little more time, though, and see what the next steps are. I don't want him to follow too far behind his sisters because of his tummy issues though so I hope to get it resolved ASAP. Here is the summary of the month in pictures :)

Job 19-25

8 months old!

The babies turned 8 months old today! This update will be just pictures because, unfortunately, Cadence and Aria are sick with bronchiolitis and need a lot of care from their mama. Aria has it worse and needs breathing treatments a few times a day. The night times are really tough. Jude hasn't gotten anything worse than a runny nose, thank God, but he has been suffering with the reflux after he eats. This has been the most difficult month for all of us since the babies have been home. We saw the doctor many times this month (and did A LOT of praying!) Thank God nobody needed hospitalization, which has always been my worse fear.

Isaiah 41:13
For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

They are getting harder and harder to photograph together, especially with the little month stickers!

Noah turned 3 on March 14th! We couldn't have a party for him this year because of all the sickness.

I love this boy so much and I am so proud of him! Can't believe he is 3!

7 Months Old!

Well, I can't believe it by the babies are 7 months old, 4 months adjusted! February was a short month so it went by fast. The biggest news to report is that the babies got their first colds :( long story short, we thought Tim's health insurance changed so we got denied the Synagist shot to help rsv from spreading in the event that they get it. Come to find out we still had our old insurance a few days later, we put ourselves on complete lock down until the babies got the shot. The day after they got it, I took Noah to the zoo to celebrate and sure enough, he picked up a virus there. He started showing symptoms 5 days later and then Aria 5 days after him and Cadence and Jude a few days later. Good news is, it was petty mild, thank God (in fact, we are not even sure if Jude got it or not). There was so much hype about keeping the babies virus-free the first year so I felt like I failed. But, maybe it was good for their little immune systems. Here is a low down on how each baby is doing:

Cadence- now weighs 12lbs8oz. She fell a little weight gain because she is had been so finicky with her bottle lately. She cannot be bottle. She is our high maintenance chickie! She is rolling like crazy (back to belly), and is starting to enjoy the jumperoo!

Aria- Now weighs 11lbs8oz. She is the lowest maintenance and will take a bottle from anyone (the other two, not so much!) She is rolling belly to back and is enjoying the jumperoo, too!

Jude- Now weighs 13lbs. He looks so much bigger than the girls and is my chill little man. Except when he gets reflux episodes which usually happens once or twice a day. We've tried several medications with him and nothing is working anymore. I don't do as much tummy time with him because of the reflux so he is a little behind the girls. He does occupational therapy once a week to help strengthen his neck and core. He also has torticollis that we are trying to correct.

The triplets are so amazing and are still sleeping through the night! Cadence and Aria are still at 6 bottles per day and Jude is at 5. They each get 1/2 breastmilk and 1/2 formula. Cadence drinks about 19 oz, Aria 20, and Jude 21. We still fortify to 24 calories. We have not started solids yet but we are getting closer to starting. Then the real fun begins! Noah is going to really start enjoying them soon!

I thank the Lord everyday for my 4 amazing little blessings! I love them so much!
